A-GRASS 2025: Day 3 – Paper Presentation at Asian Graduate Studies Summit 2025 (DNA Community 5.0 Framework)

Henry L. De Guzman recently represented his current and previous institutions and country at the prestigious Asian Graduate Studies Summit 2025, held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The summit, organized by the Asia-Pacific Consortium of Researchers and Educators in partnership with Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education, brought together leading academics and graduate students from across the region.

His work, co-authored with Dr. Philip P. Ermita, Dr. Marilyn L. Ngales, Dr. Ira C. Valenzuela, Prof. Leonora H. Astete, Dr. Arlene R. Caballero, and Engr. Niño E. Merencilla, proposes a strategic framework namely DNA Community 5.0 Framework (De Guzman, Ngales, & Astete, 2021) to guide universities in their community engagement efforts, ensuring that academic initiatives are aligned with the demands of a rapidly changing, technology-driven society.

Moreover, De Guzman was awarded a Certificate of Presentation by the summit organizers. The certificate, bearing the official seals of the consortium and partner universities, commends him for his noteworthy research findings and contributions to the summit’s theme: “Bridging Knowledge to Action: Transformative Graduate Education and Research for a Sustainable Asia.” The event took place from May 21 to 24, 2025, at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education.
