Experiencing Vietnamese Folk Music
After our boat ride, we joined a lively audience under a thatched roof pavilion. Local artists dressed in colorful ao dai performed traditional Vietnamese folk songs and dances. The music, warm applause, and smiling faces made us feel truly welcome. This cultural show was a highlight, connecting us to the rhythms and stories that define life in the Delta.
Cruising the Canals in Traditional Hats
With our conical hats tied snugly, we set off in a wooden sampan, gliding through the narrow, palm-lined waterways of the Mekong Delta. The little boat swayed gently as our guide paddled us along, giving us a unique look at the lush, green landscape up close. It was peaceful and exciting—an authentic way to explore the region.
